Her husbands were Stefan Surchadzhiev and Ivan Andonov . Both are actors and directors. Taseva was a member of the Union of Bulgarian Filmmakers. Only 10 days before her death from cancer she was still on the scene. She died on July 4, 1989 in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Mariya Ivanova was born on May 29, 1929 in Vidin, Bulgaria. Mariya Ivanova was the "first lady of our cinema" - artist-designer, one of the last pioneers and founders of modern Bulgarian cinema. She put the basics of film production design in the country; she has taught some of the most talented production designers who came then in the profession. It was subtle, sophisticated man uplifted spirit that knew no compromise. She was a perfectionist in the highest sense of the word. She has worked in the strongest decades of Bulgarian cinema - 60th, 70th and 80th , with some of the best directors Borislav Sharaliev, Nikola Korabov, Ivan Andonov, Rangel Valchanov, Vili Tsankov, Lyudmil Staykov and so more. Her personal story is closely intertwined with that of our cinematography, with its rise, flourishing crisis and struggle for the superiority over her. She lived and studied as a child in Italy, studied architecture, but ended in Sofia in the late 50th; she has rushed into Bulgarian fledgling film industry with the ambition to have taste European standards. Five artists have painted her because of the sign of the spiritual over her forehead. Her character is manifested not only in cinema but also in its discreet charity with which more than 20 years she has helped the girls from the Home for Abandoned children in Lovech. She died on April 27, 2011 in Sofia, Bulgaria.- Valcho Kamarashev was born on 12 September 1937 in Vidin. He graduated in Acting from the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in 1959. He worked as an actor at the Drama Theatre in Burgas for three years, then was part of the company of the Drama Theatre in Pernik for two years, and in Russe for another two years. He worked for almost 20 years at the Tear and Laughter Theatre in Sofia and for 15 years at the Bulgarian Army Theatre in the capital city. He has acted in almost 60 films, including Doomed Souls (1975), Villa Zone (1975), All Is Love (1979), The Racket (1982), I, The Countess (1989), and The Lot (1993). In 2000 he won the Best Actor Award of the Union of Bulgarian Actors.

Todor Andrejkov was a film critic, editor, writer, director. He was born on August 4, 1933 in the village Golemanovo, Vidin district, Bulgaria. He graduated in "Theatre Studies" at National Academy for Theatre and Film Art, Sofia, Bulgaria (1955). He has worked as an art critic in Bulgarian cinematography (1956-1959); as Drama specialist at the Ministry of Education and Culture (1959-1960); as director of the Smolyan Drama Theater in 1960-1961; as an editor of the film program in Bulgarian National Television (1961-1963); as an art specialist in Bulgarian National Film Archive (1963-1967), (1969-1970); as a Head of "Film Distribution" in Sofia Press Agency (1968-1969); as a Head of "Studio Cinemas" in "Film Distribution" (1972-1975). He was Chief of the Bulgarian National Film Archive (1976-1981). He was responsible about creating, editing and publishing of "General History of Cinema" (1981-1982). He was awarded with the Order "Cyril and Methodius". He was a Professor in National Academy for Theatre and Film Art, Sofia, Bulgaria since 1977. He died on January 19, 1997 in Sofia, Bulgaria.- Director
